throttle body coolant bypass

Can you bypass throttle body cooling\heating.I'm not worried about freeze up ,are there any negative effects associated. I also understand cooler air is better for perfomance and milage.

I don't know that it would cause any damage if you disconnected hoses and used a t-piece fitting to allow flow. I wouldn't do it in our shop but maybe as a temp repair to get home.
