Help! I've got a 99 series II that's experiencing some suspension - ACE ? - problems. When the Disco is not running, it sits about one to two inches higher on th Right Rear, and lifts up another couple of inches when it is running. There is a considerable whine coming from the hydraulic pump and it also sounds like the vave block might be whining. It looks as though everything (suspension wise) is in place. Does the system need to be bled? If so - How? I appreciate any help. Thanks, DKeene
If there are no leaks it is possible the system needs to be bled. Usually the system won't need to be bled unless a leak developed and ran low on fluid or a part was replaced opening the system to get air. Look for bent or kinded lines or hoses.
